Here, I used the free BASSMIDI Driver SoundFont-compatible software synthesizer () under Synthesia () to reproduce a MIDI file using Arachno SoundFont, a custom General MIDI SoundFont bank I designed for my Sound Blaster Live! soundcard. The purpose of this audio track is to demonstrate that MIDI files can actually sound very good when played with a nice synthesizer. It's not the original music from the game, but a MIDI file composed by an unknown composer, uploaded by "Princess Peach Toadstool" on December 23th, 1998 at VGMusic (), from the original soundtrack by Koji Kondo.
